We're Looking for Vocally Talented Boys & Young Men!

Are you the parent of or do you know a boy who just loves to sing?

 Do you think he may have real talent and potential?

  Do you want him to develop his vocal abilities and to learn basic music skills?

   Are you looking for an opportunity for him to have professional vocal training?

    Would you like to give him an opportunity to perform and to travel?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you belong in the Dayton Boys Choir!

The Dayton Boys' Choir is seeking boys, ages 8-18, from all walks of life who enjoy singing quality music in a variety of styles and who share a desire for choral excellence. Auditions are not intimidating procedures. Each boy is evaluated on his ability to match pitch, follow directions and potential for learning music. No preparation is necessary.

AUDITIONS are held at the First Lutheran Church, 138 West First Street, in downtown Dayton (also where rehearsals are held). Call to reserve a date and time for your audition! (937) 640-0949

Where Are They?

The Dayton Boys Choir alumni have distinguished themselves in many fields.

Lawyers, ministers, physcians and other professional men have emerged from the ranks and several boys have gone on to make a career of music.

Jan Thompson, is just one of the fine musicians whose musical training began with the Dayton Rotary Boys' Choir. He later went on to sing with the Gelsenkirchen Opera Company in Germany.
